My Story

This art project which was led by Quaker Service involved creating a safe space for teenagers from interface areas in Belfast and asylum seekers and refugees where they could tell their own stories, frankly and freely to decision makers. The project culminated in April 2017 when the participants gathered in Stormont to tell leaders the reality and challenges of life in their communities 20 years on from the Good Friday agreement. This was accompanied by the launch of the book and film ‘My Story.’ which you can see below.
