ABOUT US
Homeplus is a Belfast-based charity working with refugees, asylum seekers, destitute migrant workers and homeless people - some of Belfast's most vulnerable individuals. We were established as a Registered Charity in 2000 by a group of concerned individuals with extensive experience and a practical working knowledge of the problems of homeless people. Since then, we have expanded to work with migrant workers, refugees and asylum seeker. Homeplus works to meet the needs of vulnerable people through our Street Outreach Programme, our Drop-In Centre and our Women’s Centre.
WAYS WE HELP
Street Outreach
Our volunteers go out on the streets of Belfast 365 nights per year. We provide food, clothes, sleeping bags and advice to people sleeping rough. We refer homeless people to emergency accommodation.
Women's Centre
We provide a safe place for women of all nationalities and religions to come together, socialise and learn from each other. We host cooking exhibitions, storytelling workshops and many other activities.
Drop-in Centre
We provide a hot meals, washing facilities and confidential advice centre for destitute migrants, asylum seekers and refugees. In addition to free English classes.
